WHAT WE DO

Our work is organized around four pillars. These are not just values — they are the framework for everything we build, every program we run, and every community we serve.

Accessibility

Pillar 01

Barriers exist in physical spaces, digital environments, workplaces, and everyday life. AID works to identify and remove those barriers so that individuals with disabilities can fully participate in their communities.

Education

Pillar 02

Understanding disability, including invisible disabilities and non-traditional communication styles is the foundation of a more inclusive world. AID provides educational resources, awareness programming, and community conversations that help people learn, grow, and show up better for one another. Knowledge builds empathy, and empathy builds community.

Advocacy

Pillar 03

Individuals with disabilities deserve a platform, not just a seat at the table. AID amplifies voices, supports self-advocacy, and works alongside individuals to navigate systems that too often overlook them. We believe advocacy is most powerful when it comes from the community itself and we are here to help that community speak and be heard.

Inclusion

Pillar 04

Inclusion is more than a policy. It is a practice. AID creates spaces, physical, digital, and social — where every person with a disability belongs without condition. That means building programs where people lead, celebrating the full range of human experience, and refusing to let anyone be defined by what others assume they cannot do.
