Our Mission
Advocacy for Students with Disabilities™ at Butler is dedicated to building a strong, supportive, and empowered community that uplifts students with disabilities by promoting accessibility, education, advocacy, and inclusion. We exist to ensure that every student with a disability, including those with invisible disabilities and those who communicate in non-traditional ways, has a voice, a platform, and a place where they are heard, respected, and valued.
What We Do

Awareness Campaigns: Organize events throughout the year to educate the Butler community about disability advocacy and inclusion.

Support Groups: Provide safe spaces for students with disabilities and their allies to connect, share experiences, and support one another.

Campus Advocacy: Work with university administration to improve accessibility, accommodations, and support services for students with disabilities.

Community Outreach: Partner with Indianapolis-area disability organizations to volunteer, fundraise, and expand our impact beyond campus.

Educational Workshops: Host speakers, panels, and training sessions to promote understanding of disability and accessibility.

Social Events: Create inclusive social opportunities that accommodate different needs and abilities.
